Anyone who has met actor Pankaj Tripathi will concur that he is one of the most genuine actors in the business. And he had often demonstrated this. The actor has contributed much to his village’s improvement. In the most recent, Pankaj, who is originally from the Bihar district of Gopalganj, restored a public school.
The actor quotes, “The Gopalganj Gaurav app was created by the Gopalganj district administration. At a meeting, the administration declared that anyone from the district who lives elsewhere and wants to perform social service work for their town or district will receive assistance from the administration. I was in the meeting and thought it was a smart idea. The now-secondary school’s principal called me two months after the meeting and explained that they needed money to build a compound wall and gates to secure the schoolchildren because there is a road right outside the building and kids frequently run across the road.”
Actor Pankaj Tripathi:
Planning and funding for the project were done by Pankaj and his older brother. He further adds, “Later, when I returned to the hamlet, I went to the school and saw that some of the plaster was crumbling, the colours were fading, and the lights and fans weren’t working correctly. This, in my opinion, also needed to be done. We, therefore, took the initiative to renovate and modernise the school facilities through the trust that was established in my mother’s and father’s names, the Pandit Banaras Tiwari Foundation trust. The goal of this effort, according to the school that I attended when I was a student, is to pique the interest of all students in attending class and demonstrating a serious commitment to their studies by exposing them to cutting-edge facilities nearby.”
The initiative was a partnership with the paint company for which Pankaj serves as a brand ambassador. Pankaj Tripathi concludes by saying, “The company provided electrical equipment and funded the school’s paintwork to promote the campaign. The refurbishment was finished when we donated the remaining monies through our charity. According to Pankaj Tripathi, “We also made sure the school was self-sufficient in terms of power supply and electricity, and we built eco-friendly solar energy panels so that children wouldn’t encounter any difficulties when attending class during power outages.”
Due to his passion for reading and the long-term benefit of the pupils, the actor is currently working on building a library within the school grounds. Click here to read more about the versatile Bollywood actor Pankaj Tripathi.
