When discussing how important dance is to her, Seerat explains, “I started learning dance at the age of 16. I always had a lot of fun singing and dancing as a kid. It was my passion that, in hindsight, helped me lay the groundwork for my career in the performing arts. I quickly discovered that I had been trained for the camera my entire life once I started acting. My training in musical theatre prepared me to “face the camera and the big screen.”
The actress adds, “The stage is my Janmabhoomi, but I think of the movie as my Karmabhoomi. I originally trained as a dancer, and the rush and the pleasure have only gotten stronger with time. I believe that if it weren’t for acting, I would have pursued a career in the performing arts.” Seerat continues, “Even today, I feel like my life has come full circle because I am starring as a dancer in a film alongside Dil Raju. For me, this is definitely unique.”
The journey of Seerat is truly inspirational. She got to where she is today because of her commitment and diligence. She is an excellent illustration of how following your passion can help you succeed. Click here to read more about the actor Seerat Kapoor.
