Today is a black day for the entertainment industry, as they have lost a gem. Irrfan Khan passed away from a terminal disease called a neuroendocrine tumor. Since he was diagnosed with the disease, he has been into medical observation. The actor fought his battle with the illness until the end. However, today was the last day he took breaths on earth. Irrfan Khan’s last rites were performed today in Mumbai.
The whole film fraternity is saddened by the news, and cannot grasp on the bizarre fact. The veteran actor who made a place in our hearts through his exquisite performances has left us. However, his life journey was remarkable, his odyssey will be remembered by everyone. From watching his favorite movie Jurrasic Park in a small theatre to finally working in it as one of the lead characters, in a way he achieved everything he wished for.
Irrfan was admitted to the ICU as he had troubled to breathe last night. The actor was hospitalized in Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital. The Slumdog Millionaire actor was later buried today at 3 pm. His burial took place at Versova-Mumbai Kabrastan. At his last moments, he was accompanied by his wife and kids, along with his closed ones. Everyone paid their last respects and mourned for his loss. Irrfan Khan hailed fromTonk, Rajhastan, and will be forever in Mumbai. Let me remind you, the Khan family lost two of their members in just a few days from a long and terminal disease.
His mother, Saeeda Begum passed away in Jaipur and the actor was unable to go there due to lockdown. Let us pray for peace to be upon him, and may his soul rest in peace.
