Javed Akhtar & Ashoke Pandit’s fight on Tablighi Jamaat and Moradabad has been making headlines. While Bollywood celebrities are trying to maintain peace and spread awareness, the debate of the prominent Bollywood lyricist and producer Ashoke Pandit is trending. Their social media war is very controversial and heaty.
Javed Akhtar & Ashoke Pandit’s fight on Tablighi Jamaat:

It all started when Javed Akhtar tweeted a thank you post for the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) for doing a good job. He tweeted, “They have done the most corona tests than any other city, even any other state in India, which is why most corona infects have been detected, and sent for treatment. Which is most effective in fighting and defeating Corona? Thank you, BMC.”

This Tweet of Javed Akhtar caught the attention of the Bollywood producer Ashoke Pandit. He retweeted saying, “Sir I support your appreciation for the great work done by BMC but still waiting for you to condemn Tablighi Jamaat’s continuous terrorist act. I am sure you must have seen the Moradabad scenes as well. Why this criminal silence on barbaric attacks?”

To this baseless question, the intellectual personality Javed Akhtar replied a very straightforward and blunt answer. He said, “Hindu or Muslim, my thoughts don’t differ according to religion. You know me for many years, and you are even my good friend. I am astonished that you are asking me this question.”. However, this savage reply of the writer didn’t stop the producer from asking the same question again but politely.

The writer replied in an emotional tone and explained his dilemma with everyone through this Tweet. Javed Akhtar & Ashoke Pandit’s fight on Tablighi Jamaat left us all thinking.

There are always some people in the world who would manage to bring religion, race, caste, class, and community in any given situation. These people have now been bringing religion into the Corona crisis that’s been going around in the globe. The government is trying its best to keep the people safe and away from all the propaganda. Although, along with an epidemic, there come many problems. It is usually hard to control and contain each person’s thoughts and mindsets. The wrong influence annihilates faster than we could ever imagine.
