Model and Bollywood actress Poonam Pandey tied the knot with Sam Bombay two weeks ago in a secret wedding. The nude sensation got enormous love from fans when the duo shared their wedding pictures. However, what came out now is jaw-dropping and inhuman. Poonam has accused her husband of assaulting her. In addition, he was also put behind bars for the same. This has shocked her fans and media as the actress used to post hot, intimate and lovey-dovey pictures with her partner. Poonam is firm on her decision of breaking the two-week old marriage as she claims Sam beats her inhumanly. The actress also said that she thought marriage would bring forth a positive change in their relationship. However, according to the recent news it can be said her expectations have turned to disappointments and heartache.
Poonam Pandey Discloses her Abusive Relationship:
While sharing the entire incident, Poonam said, “Sam and I had an argument, which escalated, and he began hitting me. He choked me and I thought I was going to die.”
She further mentioned, “He punched me in my face, pulled me by my hair and banged my head against the corner of the bed. He knelt on my body, pinned me down and assaulted me. Somehow, I managed to break free and bolted out of the room. The hotel staff called the cops, who took him away. I filed a complaint against him.” She also called herself ‘The perfect example of love is blind.’
She added, “This time, I don’t plan to go back to him. I don’t think it’s a smart idea to return to a person, who has beaten you up like an animal, without even thinking of the consequence. In a bid to save our relationship, I have suffered a lot. I prefer being single than in an abusive relationship. She also said, “I have decided to end our marriage. It’s about time I moved on.”
“I have been in hospitals on several occasions through the course of our courtship. I put up with the abusive relationship because I believed that we loved each other.”
Poonam said, “I always painted a rosy picture projecting us as a perfect couple. His anger stemmed from his possessiveness and insecurity. We got married hoping that things would get better. Unfortunately, it didn’t turn out to be a wise decision.”
Poonam filed an F.I.R against Sam on Tuesday at South Goa’s Canacona police station. He was arrested for allegedly molesting, threatening and assaulting her. As per reports, now he has been granted bail.
