The Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty files petition at Supreme court as she seeks transfer for the FIR lodged against her to Mumbai from Patna. The father of the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, K.K. Singh lodged FIR against Rhea Chakraborty. Rhea was Sushant Singh Rajput’s girlfriend.
The latest update from the actress on Sushant’s case and the FIR lodged against her is that she has sought to transfer the FIR to Mumbai from Patna. Rhea Chakraborty files petition at Supreme court through her lawyer. A lot of controversies are surrounded the unnatural death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Rhea has pleaded the supreme court to transfer the FIR case to Mumbai. This follows the filing of a police complaint by Rajput’s father KK Singh in Patna against Chakraborty and six others, including her family members, accusing them of abetting the actor’s suicide.

Chakraborty has also sought a stay on the probe by Bihar Police on the FIR lodged by Rajput’s father till the disposal of her petition by the Supreme Court. It is said that police have received some ‘sensational’ information which hinted that Mumbai Police is helping Rhea Chakraborty.
Vikas Singh, the family lawyer of the Singh’s said; “If she (Rhea) has moved the apex court, she should have filed a petition seeking CBI investigation. FIR is registered in Patna. Now she (Rhea) has filed a petition in Supreme Court seeking stay and transfer of investigation to Mumbai. Isse jyada kya proof chahiye ki (what more proof is needed that) somebody in Mumbai Police is helping her.”
On the other hand, Advocate Satish Maneshinde, who is representing Chakraborty, had said he has filed a petition in the apex court seeking transfer of the case from Patna to Mumbai where the probe in the death case of actor Sushant Singh Rajput is going on.
