Masakali 2.0 is a cumulative effort of the singers’ Tulsi Kumar, Mohit Chouhan, and Sachet Tandon. The singer Mohit Chouhan was also the singer for the original song. This remake just not made the fans angry but also made the composer of the original song, A.R. Rahman, angry. Masakali featured Abhishek Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor, and it is a song from the classic film of 2009, Delhi-6.
Masakali 2.0 features Sidharth Malhotra and Tara Sutaria, who have given a romantic and naughty twist to the song. This twist doesn’t do justice to the song as per the opinion of the public. The remix is produced and released on Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series. The music video is directed and choreographed by Adil Shaikh while Tanishk Bagchi has overdone to give it a contemporary touch. In an interview, Sidharth Malhotra expressed his views on the trolls on Masakali 2.0. “It’s very easy for people to say – I mean, everyone is to be blamed for it as a team.” he further added, “I don’t think the audience has the patience now or they are not excited by that we are not really creating new melodies. So as an audience, as a listener, I completely agree. Actors also get far more excited with a brand new song.”
