The spat between the Bollywood director and actress Sonakshi Sinha has taken a different turn now. Sonakshi Sinha slams Vivek Agnihotri for spreading fake rumors about her on social media. The actress is very angry at the director and didn’t expect this from him.
Recently, Vivek Agnihotri had shared a spotted picture of Sonakshi Sinha, on his official social media account saying who shoots during the quarantine. This tweet by the director got a lot of attention from the viewers. It did a lot of rounds and people have been criticizing the actress ever since. Thinking it came from the direct source of Bollywood people believed it straight away. Although Sonakshi Sinha has now clarified things and is willing to take strict action against the director.
Sonakshi Sinha slams Vivek Agnihotri:
She shared a picture as evidence that the spotted image is an old pic from an old shoot which is finished. Along with the picture, her caption said, “Being a Director and member of many unions and film bodies one would expect you to be better informed than Absolutely NO one is shooting since studios are shut and it’s a national lockdown! I believe Classic freeze-frame means throwback in @MumbaiMirror terms, clearly meaning it’s an old picture, from 5th Nov 2019 to be precise! Aaah… those were the days.”
Furthermore, the actress tagged Mumbai police in the same post shared by Vivek Agnihotri. She asked them how can one take legal action to stop people from spreading rumors, and fake news. The reply from the director is still awaited. At times like this, it is very important to check the news before sharing it.
