The central government has already announced the news of extending the lockdown from 14th April to 30th April. Although, before the decision taken by Narendra Modi, many states had already declared the lockdown extension.
Odisha, Rajasthan, Punjab, Maharashtra, West Bengal, and Telangana are the states that announced the lockdown first. Midst all this, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edpadi’s Palaniswami got targeted by Kamal Hassan. The actor tweeted his views and said, “When the chief ministers of other states are taking the decision of lockdown in their state. So, my honorable chief minister, what are you waiting for? Your master’s speech? My voice has been raised by the public. Awake sir, ever since you are sitting, you have been sitting on the chair.”

Apart from this, Kamal Hassan is also not happy about the state government’s decision to prohibit NGOs from distributing essential commodities to the poor in Tamil Nadu. Although, the second phase of the lockdown has now announced by prime minister Narendra Modi. The extension of the lockdown is the only right thing to do now. Humans can only hope to find a cure as soon as possible.
The cases of Coronavirus are only increasing, the experts and the government officials, are doing everything to contain the outbreak. The deadly virus has already killed 324 Indian citizens, the active cases are 9,352, and only 980 has recovered from the epidemic. Without a cure, the disease is much more dangerous. Along with India, many other countries around the globe have also gone into lockdown mode. Even the most developed country, the USA is having trouble controlling the outbreak.
