The 42-year-old, who hadn’t even crossed half of the life cycle yet, left us at the wee hours on Monday. He was suffering from several illnesses at a time. Wajid had gone through a kidney transplant, not long ago. However, his health started deteriorating when he got a kidney infection after the transplant. Later, he even tested positive for Coronavirus. Wajid was already on the ventilator and was surviving through life support from the past four days. Nevertheless, he fought the battle with these deadly diseases hard. Wajid Khan passed away due to a brutal cardiac arrest. It was confirmed by his brother Sajid Khan. Read more about it here.
Wajid Khan from the iconic duo Sajid-Wajid will be missed for eternity. The powerful duo of the music industry, however, is broken now. They had given us masterpieces in the films Dabangg, Wanted, and many more films.
Present at the funeral were Wajid Khan’s wife Maryam Asif Siddiqui with her two kids, Aditya Pancholi, and his brother Sajid Khan, amongst more close friends and family.
