Asha Bhosle is immensely appreciated and enormously renowned for her magical voice. The iconic singer turned 88 only a few days ago. However, she is full of energy and life just like any other middle-aged person. She believes in speed, efficiency and honesty in anything and everything that she does. Recently, in an interview, the playback singer shared that she still feels as if she is 40 years old. Her 88th birthday’s party included close family and friends, owing to the global pandemic. But, she received huge amount of wishes and love from celebrities and netizens on the internet, via social media.
Asha Bhosle feels like 40:
Asha Ji said it is due to her speed and efficiency that she feels so lively. She wants to do work but with speed. She further mentioned, “For example, I cook really fast. Others exit the kitchen as they cannot match up with my speed (laughs). Ok, on a serious note, (I owe my) honesty to my music. Honesty is an integral part of me. It has brought me pain too, but in my 87 years I have always been honest in what I do, both at work and in life.”
Not only this, she also compared herself to a 40 year old person. She had posted on social media, “I’ve completed my 87th and stepped into my 88th but I feel 40! Like me, I hope you all feel positive about life.”
She has utilized her time really well during the lockdown phase. She shared the beauty of her family bond and said that she got a lot of time with her grandchildren, Zanai and Ranjai. In addition, she mentioned enjoying her time with son Anand and daughter-in-law Anuja. Not to forget, the spiritually 40-year-old exceptionally talented singer also cooked a lot of dishes. She shared her gratitude for God as well.
