The NCW has issued a notice on Mahesh Bhatt, Mouni Roy, Urvashi Rautela, Esha Gupta with connection to an alleged sexual abuse case. PARI founder Yogita Bhayana, says that the esteemed celebrities are said to have endorsed a company whose promoter Sunny Verma is accused of sexual abuse.
A notice has been sent to veteran filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, actors Urvashi Rautela, Esha Gupta, Mouni Roy, Rannvijay Singha, and TV personality Prince Narula. The notice is sent by the National Commission for Women. It is said that the notice is in connection with an alleged sexual abuse case.
Taking it to the Twitter, Reka Sharma Chairperson of NCW tweeted, “Issued notice to @MaheshNBhatt @UrvashiRautela@eshagupta2811 @rannvijaysingha @Roymouni @princenarula88 for the recording of witness statements on a complaint received from Ms @yogitabhayana, Founder @pariforindia, alleging sexual and mental assault on several girls by Promoter of IMG Ventures, Mr. Sunny Verma and his accomplice. Despite directing to appear before the Commission and intimating the same through all possible modes of communication, these people have neither bothered to respond nor attended the scheduled meeting.” Have a look at her official Tweets below.
Bhayana on alleged sexual abuse case:
Women’s activist Yogita Bhayana filed a complaint alleging sexual abuse by one event management company IMG Ventures promoter Sunny Verma. Bhayana is the founder of the social organization PARI [People Against Rapes in India]
She had also posted a couple of videos wherein we can hear some celebrities endorsing the entertainment company. Moreover, Bhayana has alleged that this person is perhaps duping innocent girls by showing them pictures of him with celebrities. In her letter addressed to NCW dated 20 July, Bhayana has shed light on the alleged modus operandi of Verma.

To submit their nude pictures to get a better ranking in the contest. After receiving the nude pictures and sometimes even before. Sunny used to get in touch with the girls to push them for completely nude pictures and videos. He also used to allude as well threaten them to submit to his sexual desires if they were interested in modeling as a career or wish to win the contest. Once he establishes a physical relationship with the girls, he used to blackmail them for regular sexual favors.,” Bhayana wrote in her letter.
