After Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, the Hindi film industry has been severely maligned due to the allegations of nepotism and fervent drug consumption. Rhea Chakraborty and her brother are also in judicial custody. The ‘Jalebi’ actress is arrested due to the charges of procuring and financing drugs. Few more names of famous and renowned actresses like Sara Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh have come out. The four actresses were summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau and grilled for hours to draw out the reality behind the drug scenario. All of this came under the spotlight when their WhatsApp messages were checked. They said that they were talking about hand-rolled cigarettes in those texts. As per the actresses, the word ‘doob’ is falsely interpreted by the officials. In addition, NCB revealed about the Bollywood drug investigation and said that the actresses have claimed that they don’t even smoke.

NCB was quoted as, “They said they don’t even smoke cigarettes.” Not only this, many rumours surfaced the internet that Shraddha have claimed to have seen Sushant consuming drugs. It was also said that she disclosed Sushant used to have drugs in his vanity van during shooting breaks. However, now it has all come out to be false. There were no such statements made by any of the actresses. In fact, all of them have denied the knowledge of late actor’s drug habit. The NCB official said that technical analysis of all four of their cellphones will clear the air of doubts and suspicions further. The actresses have voluntarily submitted their phones.
On the other hand, it was also revealed that executive producer of Dharma Productions, owned by Karan Johar, was harassed to make a statement in order to implicate Karan.
