Movie Khuda Haafiz gained a lot of love and great response from the audience. The movie recently released on a streaming platform, Disney+ Hotstar on August 14. It starred Vidyut Jammwal, Aahana Kumra, Shivaleeka Oberoi amongst others. The love from the audience has sparked the finalizing of a sequel to the movie. The movie will be named as Khuda Haafiz Chapter II.

Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh made the announcement by tweeting. The movie is said to go on floors in the first quarter of 2021. It will be produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak.

Director of Khuda Hafiz said that he had the sequel in his mind but was looking forward to receiving responses from the viewers. In addition, he said that the sequel will be a more potent and heartfelt love story. It will showcase the characters coming to terms with what has happened.
In addition, Kabir increased the excitement by saying, “This is not going to be a franchise film. It’s the final lethal chapter. Expect bigger action for sure, but also a bigger heart, and on a bigger screen.”
The movie Khuda Haafiz screened a real life story of a young newly wedded couple Sameer (Vidyut) and Nargis (Shivaleeka). For better career opportunities, the couple decided to shift overseas. However, the wife Nargis went missing and Sameer tries nooks and corners to find her.
Vidyut unfolded the vision of the makers and his as well. He said, “Getting his (lead character Sameer, essayed by him) wife back is not the perfect ending. To adjust and successfully live in society after the woman (Nargis, played by Shivaleeka Oberoi) has gone through this turmoil is the real beginning of the love story. That’s what we’re planning to showcase in the second chapter.”
