The title of Pulkit Bangia’s most recent show, Sapnon Ki Chhalaang, he believes offers some hope to those searching for it, especially those who have yet to take the risk and follow their ambitions. Serial Sapno Ki Chhalaang is produced by Nilanjana Purkayastha and Herum Khot’s Invictus T Mediaworks, and the actor portrays the part of Abhishek.
The actor confesses, “Abhishek, a character I play, is Radhika’s neighbour and has a very different personality from hers. He is a pretty laid-back individual who holds highly liberal views. He is someone whose simplicity and charisma can calm anyone down. So it’s fairly clear how different he is from Radhika,”
His character resonates with Pulkit nicely. He continues, “As soon as I finished reading the brief, I recognised a lot of Pulkit in Abhishek. As a result of my strong emotional connection to the dialogue, it was also easy for me to blend in” Speaking on his preparation, he remarks, “Since the character is quite relatable, it has been fairly easy for me. Since this programme is more realistic, I also had to work on honing my natural and realistic acting abilities.”
Serial Sapno Ki Chhalaang:
He expresses his admiration for Nilanjana, Herumb, and their team and says that working with them doesn’t feel like their first time working together. The actor adds, “Herumb Khot and Nilanjana Purkayastha have been extremely hospitable! I’m hoping that I live up to their expectations and that we can work together in the future,” The programme emphasises a small-town girl’s goals. The actor says, “I come from a small town too, and my biggest aspiration is to give my parents a life they always dreamed of but couldn’t enjoy because of the sacrifices they had to make.” On this note, the actor shares his aspiration.
Every time he takes a glance back, he relives his journey and is inspired to do better by how far he has gone. “I then consider how far I still have to go. I consider all the sacrifices my family made, their many prayers for me, the love my fans have shown me, and so on. All these things keep me going and inspire me all the time,” he beams.
Pulkit’s sister serves as his role model. He concludes by saying, “She always thinks much ahead of her time, and any counsel she has given me has never failed. So I refer to her as the more sane sibling. And I am my harshest critic. Nobody understands me the way I do, and nobody evaluates me the way I do. Not just the finest, but also the harshest, and I have to be because I am aware of my potential; occasionally, it is necessary to provide the best.”
