Bollywood News & gossip | Radhe – Your Most Wanted Bhai, one of the year’s most anticipated films, was released on Eid 2021, or May 13, 2021. While it received a theatrical distribution in most international areas, Indian audiences were unable to see it on the big screen. This is due to the second wave of the Coronavirus epidemic, which forced practically all governments to close movie theaters.
Radhe – Your Most Wanted Bhai was eventually released exclusively in Tripura. It was released in three theatres. Two in Agartala and one in Dharmanagar.
As Agartala was put under lockdown on the fifth day, it was only shown at Dharmanagar’s theatre. The box office was low, and the movie was out of theaters in less than a week. On the plus side, even though it was peak Covid season, a few viewers braved the crowds to see the picture on the big screen.
Maharashtra’s administration declared last Friday that it will unlock the state by classifying the districts on a scale of one to ten. Cities and districts that fell under Level 1 and even Level 2 were permitted to open up a little, and oddly, theatres were permitted to reopen. Unfortunately, due to a lack of material and the fact that large cities such as Mumbai, Delhi, and others have yet to receive clearance to reopen theaters. The areas under Level 1 have chosen to keep their theaters closed as well.
However, on June 11, two movie halls took the initiative to open their doors by screening Radhe — Your Most Wanted Bhai. Enjoy, a drive-in cinema in Malegaon, and Khinvasara Cineplex (previously Apsara Cinema) in Aurangabad are the two theaters.
Yesterday, Zee Studios shared a photo of the Enjoy Drive-in theatre. A line of cars had gathered for the 7:30 p.m. showing of the Salman Khan blockbuster. This theater is showing the film twice a day, at 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Meanwhile, Radhe – Your Most Wanted Bhai will be shown four times a day at Khinvasara Cineplex. The timings are 12 p.m., 3 p.m., 6:15 p.m., and 9:30 p.m.
“The creators have planned to distribute Radhe – Your Most Wanted Bhai in other locations in the days ahead. It includes some of Mumbai’s single screens and other cities,” a source added.
Additionally, audiences outside of Maharashtra will soon be able to see Radhe – Your Most Wanted Bhai on the big screen.
The revenues at the Auranagad theatre yesterday were Rs. 2420, while the receipts from the Drive-in theater in Malegaon were Rs. 3597.86 – a trade analyst informed Bollywood Hungama. So, yesterday’s total collections were Rs. 6017.86. All of these values are estimates.
