Sultan was about Sultan Ali Khan (Salman), a wrestler whose great career caused a breach in his marriage with Aarfa (Anushka).
Randeep Hooda, Amit Sadh, and Kumud Mishra had pivotal parts in Sultan. While the film was a huge hit, grossing Rs 623 crore worldwide, it was panned for the way Anushka’s character, who was also a wrestler in the film, was treated. Many critics and spectators questioned Aarfa’s decision to forego a successful profession to become a mother, calling it backward. Anushka used Twitter at the time to defend her persona.
“It’s liberating to prioritize parenting above a job. It’s liberating to prioritize your work above parenting. Anushka tweeted at the time, “The Freedom to CHOOSE is empowering.”
While Salman Khan was last seen in the film Radhe this year, Anushka was last seen in the film Zero in 2018. The actor has a successful career as a producer, having lately produced highly praised films such as Paatal Lok and Bulbul. Vamika, her daughter with cricketer Virat Kohli, was born earlier this year.
The film had a wonderful combination of everything, from the songs to the plot. It contains all of the necessary ingredients to connect with the audience right away. One of his most successful songs was “Jug Ghumiya,” and his dancing technique became legendary.
