Mansi Srivastava on Janmashtami Celebration
While advising everyone to keep their celebrations low-key, the actress shared how she celebrates the festival. Mansi said, “I normally don’t attend temples very often, but every Janmashtami, I do arrange a visit. In fact, around this period, I used to go to a few temples to admire the décor and how nicely Lord Krishna was decked. The Matki-Phod ritual was not practiced in Panchkula, where I grew up. However, when I initially got to Mumbai, I saw it for the first time and was captivated by witnessing people crawl over one other to break the matki. It wasn’t until much later that I learned that there are also tournaments between different groups. I believe Janmashtami is one of India’s most beautiful festivals, and while we all miss celebrating it on a grand scale, I would advise everyone to keep the festivities low-key this year and stay safe. Wishing you a happy Janmashtami!”
In the meantime, Mansi has received a lot of praise for her role in the Zee TV show. She continues to attract a lot of attention. It’s an extended appearance. We’re sure fans will be hoping to see more of her on the program in the future.
