Bollywood News & Gossip | Kapil Sharma’s notorious airplane brawl with co-star Sunil Grover, in which Kapil allegedly tossed a shoe at Sunil, has been widely publicized. This was possibly the most contentious issue in Kapil and Sunil’s lives.
Sunil departed The Kapil Sharma Show after their feud and went on to do other comedic programs. However, it appears that all is good between the two pals since Sunil has now expressed interest in working with Kapil again.
Sunil was asked if he and Kapil will collaborate on a project during a recent conversation with RJ Siddharth Kannan. “As of now, there are no plans. But if something comes up in the future, we would work together” he said in Hindi.
Salman Khan, the producer of The Kapil Sharma Show, was said to have played mediator between Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover, convincing them to bury the hatchet.
According to the source, Sunil wants to take a vacation from doing comedy. He wants to show the audience what he can do as an actor this time and win them over with his flexibility. While his trademark role as Gutthi (a transvestite on The Kapil Sharma Show) brought him a lot of love and fame, he found himself limited to a single genre when he is capable of so much more. And, because it’s a comedy program, he doesn’t see himself returning to it anytime soon.
About Sunil Grover
Sunil Grover is known for his comedic female avatar Gutthi, who has two ribboned braids. The character never fails to make the audience laugh on The Kapil Sharma Show. He’s worn a sari or a suit to portray various female personas, and he’s been bringing smiles to people’s cheeks with his comedic performances for a long time. Now the actor-comedian is looking for more mature and important roles to portray on television.
Sunil has appeared in films like Baaghi, Bharat, Pataakha, and many more in addition to comedy programs. He was most recently seen in the online series Tandav. And, like everyone else, he had his share of highs and lows as a performer. But he remained composed and confident in his ability. He sought out people for a job and gradually regained his vigor. Regardless of the media, he has adored all of the roles he has played onscreen.
Sunil is now awaiting the premiere of Sunflower, a criminal comedy web series. He believes the program should leave viewers guessing about what will happen next and on the edge of their seats.
