Taapsee Pannu attracted limelight after her brilliant performance in ‘Pink’ movie. The movie also starred Amitabh Bachchan. The actress gathered love from everywhere. The movie ‘Pink’ has completed four years today. Over these years, the movie fetched a huge viewership and fanbase. In an interview with ETimes, Taapsee disclosed about how it was working with Amitabh Bachchan.
Taapsee Pannu talks about ‘Pink’:
On being questioned how she bagged the role, she said that it all happened at the sets of ‘Running Shaadi’, which starred Amit Sadh. During the shooting course of the movie, she got a chance to converse with Shoojit Sircar. She added, “They had told me that there is something that they would like to pitch to me at the right time and once they develop it, they would want me to do it. They met me and told me about the concept.”
She also talked about how its was like working with Amitabh Bachchan. She said just like everyone else, she was also intimidated in the beginning. However, she realised on the first day itself that if she continues being like that then she will not be able to perform the way she has to. Taapsee Pannu and veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan have worked for two films. For the same, she said that she enjoys his company as a co-star. She added,”I enjoy his company as a co-star and not treat him like a legend and put him up at a pedestal where he is not really reachable. I treat him like any other young co-star of mine. That really helps in building chemistry.”
