The effect of this has also come upon the Television industry. The show Anupamaa has postponed; the serial Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai will fill up its time slot by airing for one hour.
Anupamaa and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai are produced by Rajan Shahi and are a part of the Star Plus channel. The serial Anupamaa was supposed to telecast its first episode on 16th March 2020. Although due to the severity of the virus outspread, the show has been postponed until 31st March. The show that was supposed to start from this Monday, had already gained a lot of fan base and viewers through its promotions. Sudhanshu Pandey is the co-star along with Rupali Ganguly. As per IMPPA orders, all the shootings in India will be stopped from 19th March to 31st March. Thus, Rajan Shahi and the creators of the show have decided to telecast the Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai for 43 minutes to be exact and fill up the 9 to 10 pm slot.
