Anupriya Goenka is in the Bollywood industry for seven years now. The actress has bagged great roles in movies solely due to her skills and talent. However, even after having a great career transformations like hers and successfully surviving in a competitive industry, she is not very social. The actor within herself holds a sense of pride for collecting great roles in her kitty without any connections. Anupriya also feels grateful for doing roles with ‘talented’ people and getting chances to play characters that resonated with her.
Anupriya Goenka shares her Happiness for her Career:
In an interview with a news portal, Anupriya Goenka shared that she is happy about the way her career has shaped so far. She said, “I am happy with how my career has shaped up so far, because I came from a space where I knew nobody in the industry. I am not a very social person, don’t know how to network. I always got roles on the basis of auditions. It’s never been through connections. That way, I feel blessed despite the fact that there is a hindrance of not being social.”
The actress went on to mention that most of the times she had a strong reason to pick up a project. For her, Padmaavat had Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Tiger Zinda hai had Salman Khan and War gave her good footing. She also shared that to reach the position where she is now, she had to turn down a few projects. As per the actress, that was the most difficult part of her career. She also expressed her gratitude for Pradeep Sarkar, who is a filmmaker. She reasoned this by sharing that he instilled in her a sense of confidence.
