Rhea Chakraborty, who will next be seen in Chehre, has received support from her Chehre co-star Krystle D’Souza. Krystle also stated that she hoped to stand up for her a little more, but it did not happen.
Chehre Fame Krystle D’Souza Supports Rhea Chakraborty
Following the death of Rhea Chakraborty’s boyfriend, Sushant Singh Rajput, his family accused her of aiding in his suicide. In the case, Rhea was also detained on drug-related charges. She was held in jail for nearly a month before being released on bond.
“My heart goes out to Rhea. I’m not sure how anyone in her shoes would handle what she’s been through. She hasn’t given up yet. I’m not sure anyone could have survived the situation that was created, which would have ended a family. What she and her family have had to endure is difficult. Hats off to her, and hats off to all the women who fight for and stand up for themselves,” Krystle D’Souza told Koimoi.
Krystle continued saying, “I hoped I could speak up for her a bit more. It didn’t happen since everything occurred so quickly. More than anything, this pandemic impacted all of us personally, who was going through so much in our own lives at the time that standing up for someone else was becoming harder… I have no idea how that girl did it, but kudos to her.”
Rhea Chakraborty has received support from Chehre producer Anand Pandit. Chehre stars Amitabh Bachchan, Emraan Hashmi, Siddhanth Kapoor, Krystle D’Souza, Annu Kapoor, and Raghubir Yadav and is directed by Rumi Jafry. The movie was supposed to come out in April, but it was postponed owing to the Covid-19 pandemic. On August 27, it will be released in theaters.
Rhea will make her three-year comeback with Chehre. In 2018, she was last seen in Jalebi.
