Out of so many movies in his kitty, one is The Immortal Ashwatthama. The movie will be helmed by the URI director Aditya Dhar. This superhero film will have three parts. It has its roots in Mahabharata and will go on floors in 2021. Due to the pandemic, many projects were stalled or paused. However, director Dhar did not face the same. He was wise and shrewd enough to start working on the pre-production of the film. As per reports, Kaushal will have to go undergo prep for 3 months. Henceforth, he will be ready to start shooting for the film by April 2021 and his training will begin in February 2021.

Originally, the movie was supposed to be carried out in a start-to-end schedule. The locations for the shoot were spread across Greenland, Iceland, Tokyo, New Zealand and Namibia. However, due to the unforeseen coronavirus pandemic, various countries have imposed restrictions on the travel sector. Owing to this, slight changes have been made to the shooting schedule. Now, the team will commence shooting in the UK and later move to Iceland. In addition, the current plan is also uncertain as due to the covid crisis, they may have to pour in changes.
“The film requires a lot of planning because this is something that has never been done before, it is huge. The work is on in terms of writing,” the director, Aditya Dhar, said in a statement to PTI.
“It was high time we brought such stories to the audience, the kind of fantastic stories we have in our mythology. I wonder why nobody made those into films in so many years. My idea is to create something that is at par with everything that is around the world or Hollywood.”
