Due to the global pandemic, a new normal has emerged. This involves a number of precautions that have become necessary due to the deadly coronavirus. This has affected the entertainment industry as well. Actress Mouni Roy has opined on the same. The actress is currently in Dubai. She shot her new film, titled ‘London Confidential’, with Purab Kohli, after the unlock happened. Talking about the lockdown phase, she told IANS that she has realised a few things that she otherwise never got chance to analyse. The actress shared an insightful thought. She said she has understood that in reality we need very little to feel happy because happiness is there in the small things of life.
Mouni Roy opines on Lockdown and Shooting after Unlock:
Mouni was quoted as, “At times we just gather a lot of stuff in our house for no reason. In normal life, we tend to engage ourselves in many things that are otherwise irrelevant! If we want, we actually can stay away from such things!”
In addition, she also said that as humans we come across negative emotions and it is easy to drop them if we work on them. The actress further said that we can drive away negative emotions by practising meditation and yoga.
She also said that shooting after the unlock was stressful. She could observe tensions on the set. Mouni said, “There were several rules. We were using disinfectants time and again. Only one department could be present at the set . We were following all of it but in the beginning, there was tension because obviously we have never been used to such rules on a set. Eventually all these became normal. Since I have left Mumbai, I have done seven swab tests! But again, this is part of the new set of rules. I am getting used to the new normal.”
