Popular TV personalities Rashami Desai, Shefali Jariwala, Adaa Khan, and Priyal Gor gave a brief presentation about their experiences working on the show “Ratri Ke Yatri 2” and the difficulties they had when portraying prostitutes. The anthology series, which is directed by Anil V. Kumar, consists of five distinct stories with a common red-light district backdrop. It highlights the grim reality of those who reside in these regions.
Rashami Desai, who plays a sex worker, spoke candidly about getting ready for the part and studying every actor who played one. “While playing the part of a sex worker has a fair share of obligations, my initial reaction was to pay close attention to every prostitute actor and note every element that they conveyed. I deliberately watched the movie again to get inspiration from the smallest aspects,” she remarked.
To perform her character in the series right, she also conducted studies in addition to watching others.
She continued, “Along with that, I added in my fieldwork to enable me to display a performance that the audience will value. My preparation for the role was much helped by our director, Anil V. Kumar sir. On the sets, I usually play the director’s actor, but this time I was too shaken up. I sincerely hope the audience will appreciate the work we all put in.
On the other hand, the “Kaanta Lagaa” actress interacted with s*x workers to get into the skin of her character.
Adaa Khan, who is best known for her performance in “Naagin,” always chooses to practice acting in front of a mirror before taking on any job, and she did the same thing this time as well.
Priyal Gor, the actress from “Yeh Hai Aashiqui,” did everything she could to prepare for her on-screen image, from studying videos to doing docuseries.
