While the year 2020 has been a misery for many, as the epidemic is still wreaking havoc, no-one experienced a more difficult second half of the year than actress Rhea Chakraborty. Rhea Chakraborty has gone through a lot, from being the center of attention and supposedly the claimed cause of actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death to being questioned on several occasions and suffering the media’s anger.
While things haven’t exactly improved for the actress in terms of her profession, she has been more active on social media and has made appearances. And she only did one after a long time yesterday. The mehndi ceremony for director Rumi Jaffery’s daughter Alfia Jaffery, which took place on Sunday, was a small event. Though, Chakraborty and actor Krystle Dsouza made an appearance. The stars dressed in yellow traditional costumes with elegance while the paparazzi recorded their sweet grins.

In case you were wondering, Chakraborty’s most recent film performance was in Rumi Jaffrey’s Chehre. Rhea and Krystle are set to be in Alfia’s father Rumy’s next film. As the epidemic continues to shut down movie theaters around the country, the thriller is awaiting its premiere date. The film’s protagonists are Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi. Chehre was supposed to be released on April 9th, however, it was postponed. However, with the second wave of the coronavirus epidemic sweeping the country, the film’s producers opted to postpone its release. Chehre’s trailer was published earlier this month. Meanwhile, Alfia was spotted having a great time at her bachelorette party last month, as seen by her latest Instagram picture showing how she partied with her pals.
