Sushant Singh Rajput’s death has brought in to the picture many controversies. The actor died at a very young age of 34. It has been more than two months since the actor left for heavenly abode but yet the mystery of this case remains constant. In light of the same, the Supreme Court passed the judgement of a CBI probe being involved in the case. For the same, many celebs and netizens are voicing their stand & support. Now, in an interview with ETimes, Shekhar Suman shared his opinions about the case. He believes it is the victory of justice, faith, hope and democracy.
Shekhar Suman on Sushant’s case:
The actor respects and whole-heartedly welcomes the decision of Supreme Court. He said, “We were all very sure of this. The fight that we had started from the first day, 14 th of June, it has continued and become into a sort of a world movement. Out here about 1.3 billion people asking for a CBI inquiry has finally paid off because truth prevails. At the end of the day it is Satyamev Jayate and it is a victory of 1.3 billion people, it is a victory of justice, it is a victory of faith, hope, democracy.”
However, the actor chose to not speak about the intricacies of the controversial death case. Sushant’s father alleged in the F.I.R. against Sushant’s live-in partner, Rhea Chakraborty, of abetting to suicide, theft, criminal breach of trust and various other charges. Concerned about the same, Shekhar said, “I think it will be too premature to talk about anything right now. The case has gone where it should and the law will take its own course. We should not pass any judgements now, but leave it to the CBI. In the absence of the CBI inquiry there were many theories that were floating and people were speculating, pointing fingers which was not nice. So let the CBI inquiry be done, I think everything will be evident in the time to come.”
Clearly, Shekhar Suman has faith in the judiciary just like Sushant’s family. Tell us about your views on the same.
