Shweta Tiwari Talks About Testing Positive for Coronavirus:
When ETimes questioned Shweta about not sharing the news of the disease, she said, “I don’t see any need to announce to the world on social media that I have tested positive for COVID-19. I don’t like unnecessary attention and people flooding me with ‘get well soon’ messages. When I tested positive, I informed my housing society and the shooting, too, was stalled. That’s all that was needed. My family, friends, relatives and others concerned knew about my tests.”
She also said, “I am feeling much better now, but as per rules, I will be quarantined at home till October 4. My son has gone away to live with his father (Abhinav Kohli) and my family stays on the same floor.”
In addition, she talked about how the makers of the show are managing in her absence. She was quoted as, “I can’t help it. I am sure the makers will find a way.”
Producer Deeya Singh also talked about Shweta testing positive. She said, “Our primary interest after Shweta tested positive, was to look after our unit members and check if no one else had tested positive. We did not want to instill fear in people’s minds.”
