Actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s father has filed a caveat in Supreme Court seeking a hearing before passing any orders on Rhea’s plea. Rhea moved the apex court a day after Sushant’s father filed a case against her and her family. Sushant’s father had filed the case on grounds of abetment to suicide, breach of trust and many more. In response to this, Rhea sought a stay on the investigation by Bihar Police and also requested a transfer of the case from Bihar Police to Mumbai Police.
A caveat is a legal petition which means that the party who has first filed a case before the concerned court, would be definitely heard before the particular court passes any judgments in future.
K.K. Singh’s words in the caveat:
Sushant Singh Rajput’s father said in the caveat, “Let nothing be done in the above matter without prior notice to the undersigned.” The caveat is filed through lawyer Nitin Saluja. Earlier, senior advocate of Sushant’s family had said, “If she (Rhea) has moved the apex court, she should have filed a petition seeking CBI investigation. FIR is registered in Patna, now she (Rhea) has filed a petition in Supreme Court seeking stay and transfer of investigation to Mumbai. Isse jyada kya proof chahiye ki (what more proof is needed that) somebody in Mumbai Police is helping her.” To know more about this, read here.
In the F.I.R. Sushant’s father alleged that Rs. 15 crore were transferred from Sushant’s account in one year to unknown bank accounts. It was also alleged by Sushant’s father, K.K. Singh, that the young actress threatened the Kai Po Che actor to leak his medical reports to the media. The late actor also wanted to travel to Coorg with friend Mahesh Shetty in search of land for organic farming. This action was thoroughly opposed by Rhea, as per the case filed by K.K. Singh.
