Urvashi Rautela Copied Her TEDx Talk
A few years ago, Urvashi Rautela gave a TEDx Talk that has since become the subject of numerous jokes. The actress has been accused of plagiarism because online users believe she took her discourse directly from the article. She reportedly borrowed certain ideas for her speech from talks given by Isabel Allende, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. Dan Pink, Brené Brown, and others. Additionally, internet users mocked her for not even taking out the opening remarks she chose from one of the listicles by sharing screenshots of the same.
Users mocked the actress in comments on the Reddit article, writing, “On-brand for her na. She merely desires to troll. Her PR pulled the prank, where she verbatim copied tweets from Hollywood celebrities.” Another person remarked, “She just read an article..” Another person said, “Can we cancel her already like please?!”
