The veteran Marathi and Hindi cinema actor Kishore Nandlaskar passed away due to Covid-19 complications. A week ago, the actor was admitted to a COVID center in Thane after his oxygen level dropped. The actors’ grandson confirmed the news.
Kishore Nandlaskar’s grandson Anish told a news channel, “My grandfather was admitted to a Covid-19 Center in Thane on April 14 after he tested positive last week. He breathed his last in the Covid center between 12.30 pm to 1 pm. He was having trouble breathing and talking before being admitted to the Covid center. His oxygen level had also fallen significantly.”
The veteran Bollywood actor Kishore Nandlaskar passed away at the age of 81. The ace actor made his acting debut with the Marathi film Ina Mina Dika in 1989. He was a well-known figure in the Marathi film industry. And essayed several memorable roles in ‘Ina Mina Dika’, ‘Miss You Miss’, ‘Bhavishyachi Aishi Taishi’, ‘Gaon Thor Pudhari Chor’, ‘Jara Japun Kara’, ‘Hello Gandhe Sir’, ‘Madhyamvarg – The Middle Class’.

He has also featured in a slew of Bollywood films like Jis Desh Mein Ganga Rehta Hain (2000), Khakee (2004), Vaastav: The Reality (1999), Singham (2011), Simmba (2018). The film fraternity, including actors like Govinda, Ranveer Singh, Manoj Bajpayee paid their tributes.
As soon as the tragic news broke out, several celebs from the B-Town and Marathi cinema expressed their deepest grief and remembered the noted actor while mourning his sad demise. Govinda, who has worked with the departed soul in the film ‘Jis Desh Mein Ganga Rehta Hain’ also reacted to the news and extended his condolences to his family. He said, ‘Very sad to hear about the demise of such a talented actor. My condolences to his family.’
Actor Ranveer Singh and Manoj Bajpayee took to their social media handles to mourn his death. While Ranveer Singh, who featured along with him in the hit flick ‘Simmba’ took to his Instagram handle and shared a monochrome picture of Kishore Nandlaskar and dropped a broken heart emoji, actor Manoj Bajpayee tweeted, ‘Sad news!!! May God bless his soul!!!!’
