She also talked about the on-going pandemic and how it is affecting people’s finances. She feels that all of this is ultimately affecting mental health.
Zareen Khan on Struggles faced by Outsiders:
Zareen Khan in an interview with a news portal, opened up about her struggles post the release of Veer. The 2010 movie did not earn love. In resultant, the entire blame of was shouldered to Zareena by the people as it was her debut film. She was quoted as, “It has always been tough. When Veer (2010) didn’t do well, people blamed me for it. At that time I was new, unpolished I might have made mistakes but no one understood. I soon became the soft target. Getting work after that was difficult.”
The actor also said her comparison with Katrina backfired as the latter was still working. She also said that an outsider always has an uncertainty about getting work. According to her, star-kids and people with friends get everything easily. She said, “I feel bad that I’m not given the chance to show whether I’ve the potential or not.”
The actress also talked about Salman Khan with a sense of gratitude and also said that after Veer she was on her own. She had also thanked Salman in an Instagram post about completion of 10 years of Veer.
