Latest Bollywood News: The issue surrounding Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film “Pathaan” is still in the news. In opposition to Deepika Padukone’s use of the saffron color in the “Pathaan” song “Besharam Rang,” several Karni Sena members and officials from various Hindu organizations demonstrated on Friday. The demonstrators and the general public reportedly forced the stoppage of Shah Rukh’s “Dunki” filming in Bhedaghat, close to Jabalpur.
The Karni Sena members were seen raising slogans and chanting the Hanuman Chalisa while brandishing black and saffron flags in their hands for several hours. A significant police presence was used in Bhedaghat to control the situation. The “Dunki” filmmakers were given ten minutes to wrap up their shots. Despite the threats, the shooting continued well past the allotted period.
The demonstrators stated that Shah Rukh Khan and the “Pathaan” filmmakers would not be tolerated for their “indecent and nasty” depiction of the saffron color in the film. Additionally, they demanded that no more of these movies be filmed along the banks of the renowned Narmada River. Additionally, the protesters asked that cow pee should be used to clean the area where the movie was filmed (Gomutra).
For those who are unaware, the eagerly anticipated song “Besharam Rang” from movie “Pathan” was released earlier this week. However, Deepika’s orange bikini, sparked outrage on social media. Numerous Hindu organizations and officials claimed the song offended the saffron color and Hindu sentiments.
