Movie Review:
The director Ahmed Khan has used every textbook rules to make a good action-flick entertainer but has failed miserably. The focus of the movie was more on the body of the lead actor Tiger Shroff, which is no doubt fierce. While busy showing the muscles, abs, and biceps, they forgot to deliver a story. Tiger Shroff is a bankable actor of Bollywood, but he lacks emotions and comic reactions. Even though he tries hard, his acting doesn’t seem natural. Although Shraddha Kapoor’s character doesn’t have an important role in the film she manages to bring comic relief for the first half.
The character briefs are very rough with no explanation whatsoever, where on one hand Vikram (Ritesh’s character) is handicap and needs constant help from his brother because being vulnerable, he is somehow posted as a police officer. The loose ends of the story have made it harder to watch the film.
The terrorist track of the film is ill-executed, as the characters are too scampered to be taken seriously. The other supporting actors did a better job than most of the lead actors. Baaghi 3 doesn’t have many songs, which is a good relief as the music was bland. Disha Patani adds a bit of glamour to the film from an item number. The action aspect of the film was average, but the camera work was shaky and the CGI was worst.
