New Bollywood Movie Update | Adipurush is one of Indian cinema’s most popular, awaited, and anticipated films. Prabhas and Kriti Sanon act in the major roles in this pan-Indian film, which also features Saif Ali Khan and Sunny Singh. The film is based on Ramayana, India’s most popular epic drama. Adipurush is directed by Om Raut, the master of historical plays.
The film, which was announced last year, has been repeatedly postponed owing to Coronavirus and set fires. The film’s production began in Mumbai in February. On the first day of filming, however, a major fire broke out on the set of the movie.
Adipurush Resumes Its Shoot
The Adipurush crew is back at work now that the pandemic has calmed down a little. According to a source reported by News18, the creators have rebuilt the whole set at Mehboob Studios in Mumbai, where the fire broke out. Before commencing the revised schedule, the team had completed 30% of the shoot. The fire resulted in a catastrophic loss. Because it is a period play, many costumes were ruined. The costume design crew, on the other hand, has been working tirelessly to recreate the costumes and stay on time. In Mehboob studios, a large chroma set has been constructed.
Saif and Kriti have set new dates for the project, which they have been filming since the beginning of this month. On the other side, Prabhas is yet to join the cast.
“Prabhas recently offered a clap for his forthcoming project, provisionally named ‘Project K,’ which also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone,” the insider adds. Before joining the team of Adiprusuh next month, the actor is finalizing his other film Radhe Shyam in Hyderabad. Saif, on the other hand, intends to finish most of his role before heading to Europe for the Vikram Vedha remake.
Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar, and Rajesh Nair are the producers of Adipurush. The film has a budget of Rs. 350-400 crore. The 3D extravaganza will be shot in Telugu and Hindi, with dubbed versions in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and a variety of other languages. Adipurush will be released in theaters on August 9, 2022.
