Just a day after the arrest of Bollywood producer Feroz Nadiadwala’s wife in a drug case, Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has raided the house of Arjun Rampal. On Wednesday, NCB has also summoned Arjun Rampal and his girlfriend for questioning. The officials have seized suspicious tablets from the actor’s house. NCB raids Arjun Rampal’s house.
Now, Sources say a driver working for the actor is being questioned by an NCB team. Both Rampal and his girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades have to been summoned to join the investigation on Wednesday, NCB Mumbai Unit’s Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede said. The search began at 7 am at Capri Heights in Bandra, where Rampal lives. This search lasted till 3 pm. The officials seized electronic gadgets belonging to Rampal from his Bandra residence and also questioned his driver for several hours.

The NCB had arrested the brother of Rampal’s girlfriend Gabriella in an earlier case after he was found to have links with international drug cartels. “They will be questioned in connection with the developments in the investigation. And on the seizure made from their home.” said an officer.
The sources said that Rampal and Demetriades were being examined in two drug-related cases, including case No 16/20, the same case in which actor Rhea Chakraborty and others were arrested by the agency earlier. The NCB also stated that they had summoned Nadiadwala to be questioned in connection with the ongoing investigation. However, he failed to appear. The NCB subsequently raided their Juhu residence and arrested his wife Shabana following the seizure of 10 grams of cannabis.
While the NCB is probing the drugs angle in the Sushant Singh Rajput suicide case, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has been probing the alleged money laundering, and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is probing the motive behind the actor’s suicide.
