Salaam Venky movie review:
This film is an earnest attempt to tell the inspiring story of a dying man who is determined to make his existence worthwhile. It takes us on the journey of a mother’s anguish and zest to give her son the best passing. It is an honest attempt and at least a one-time watch movie. Even though this film is not a masterpiece and doesn’t move you to an extent that you are crying your heart out it is a true and inspiring story that everyone should definitely watch once.
Even after its claims of the film growing on you after watching it, it leaves you too soon and doesn’t leave a powerful impact. The movie is inspired by the challenging life of 24-year-old chess player Kolavennu Venkatesh. Moreover, it is also loosely based on the fictional novel The Last Hurrah. We will get to see Kajol who plays the role of a single mother dealing with some of the most difficult challenges. Actor Vishal Jethwa won the hearts of the audience with his phenomenal performance in the film Mardaarni 2 as an antagonist character. Now, Wheelchair-bound or bed-ridden he has proven himself yet again in the film Salaam Venky.
So, this was all about the Salaam Venky movie review. Bollywood Hush would rate the film Salaam Venky 3 stars out of 5. Watch this space Bollywood Life News at Bollywood Hush for more Hindi film reviews.
