The Kerala Story has already made an astounding Rs. 112.92 crores in just 9 days. The Vipul Shah production is currently one of the quickest century makers outside of major films or holiday releases, which is an incredibly outstanding feat. In reality, The Kashmir Files included Anupam Kher and Mithun Chakraborty, who are both significant names, so if one looks at those films that don’t have genuine stars leading the show, this is pretty much the first time in history. Amazingly, The Kerala Story was able to accomplish it without such assistance. Scroll down to read more about The Kerala Story Box Office Collection.
The Kerala Story Box Office Collection
The Kerala Story, starring Adah Sharma, had a rise in sales of more than 50% on the third Saturday. The movie added about Rs 9 crore on day 16, and its third Sunday numbers are certainly going to reach double digits. The movie has a 16-day total of 177 crores rupees, and by the end of its weekend, it will have about 188 crores rupees. These are unheard of for a movie with this kind of budget, which is about Rs 20 crore.
The movie had a modest beginning, but it has since been riding a wave, with statistics on the 16th and 17th days being higher than the first. Despite having a competitor like Fast X, which led the weekend box office in India.
The Kerala Story Is A Very Successful Motion Picture
The uproar The Kerala Story encountered was beneficial. The uproar arose from the film’s offensive elements directed at a certain group of people. The outcome is clear to the world because those opposed to the community wholeheartedly backed the movie. After the enormous popularity of The Kashmir Files in the beginning and The Kerala Story in the present, it used to be an exception but will soon become the rule. The producers would be laughing all the way to the bank with profits of over Rs 100 crore despite the country’s widespread instability and targeted hatred.
The day-wise nett collections of The Kerala Story are as follows:-
The best thing is that the movie is still performing at its highest level because Saturday collections reached a whopping Rs. 19.50 crore, which is significantly higher than the first Saturday’s Rs. 11.01 crore. With these numbers more than 50% higher, one wonders how popular Sunday would be given that viewers are still becoming aware of this Sudipto Sen-directed “conversion terrorism drama.” It won’t be shocking if the Rs. 25 crores milestone is broken today, and if it does, the movie may continue to perform in the double digits for the remainder of the week.
IB 71 is attempting to maintain its position and attract multiplexers who enjoy seeing spy drama thrills on the big screen. A respectable Rs. 1.67 crores were brought in on the first day, while Rs. 2.51 crores were brought in on the second. Although there is curiosity in the movie, The Kerala Story, which is still playing in its league, is posing a significant threat. It is safe to assume that IB 71 would have seen larger attendance if it weren’t for that movie. Hopefully, the movie will experience an additional increase on Sunday, and its final tally will surpass Rs. 4.18 crores.

The Kerala Story Controversy
As per the Supreme Court of India, The Kerala Story movie is no longer prohibited in West Bengal. The state authorities decided to outlaw the Sudipto Sen-directed film. They thought it would have an impact on the law and order situation there.
Judges under the leadership of Chief Justice DY Chandrachud declared that since the movie has already received approval from the CBFC (Central Bureau of Film Certification) to be shown in theaters, the state must uphold peace and order.
According to NDTV’s reporting of the court’s statement, “Prima facie, we are of the view that the prohibition by West Bengal is not tenable based on the material presented. As a result, the film-banning order is suspended.”
