The remix of the song Masakali made Prasoon Joshi and A.R. Rahman angry at Tanishk Bagchi The song Msakali 2.0 was recently released on the T Series youtube channel. Featuring Sidharth Malhotra and Tara Sutaria the song was twisted into a contemporary feel. While the original song had a more natural aura, Masakali 2.0 has a naughtier appeal.

The song did manage to make headlines, regardless of good or bad. The song has mixed comments on praises and anger. Fans of the original song are quite not happy with this remake. The frenetic buzz about how the cult song from 2009 film Delhi-6 has been remade is all over the internet. Even though the beautiful pair of Sidharth Malhotra and Tara Sutaria have done their best in the song, they couldn’t manage to make places in the hearts of the people as Masakali did.

He wrote, “All the songs I wrote are very close to my heart, including the song Muskali from Delhi 6. I am very sorry that Mohit Chauhan, A.R. Rahman and my original work was used in this way. I hope fans will still listen to the original song.”
