Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty are reuniting for a laughter dose for the audience in the screen adaptation of Shakespeare’s well renowned play, The Comedy of Errors. After the duo’s collaboration for Simba in 2018, they have come together to deliver a classic comedy. It will be Singh’s first double role and the movie is titled as Cirkus. The film will also star Varun Sharma, Jacqueline Fernandez and Pooja Hegde. Ranveer spent the lockdown in going through and checking up the script and will commence the shooting in November. The movie will be a Bhushan Kumar and Reliance Entertainment presentation.
Ranveer Singh To Play his First Double Role in Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus:
A source from the production house has spilled the beans to a news portal about the details of the movie. Ranveer will play the roles of identical twins who were separated from each other. The twins are accompanied by the attendants who are also lookalikes. Those roles will be essayed by Varun Sharma. The laughter will kick in when the four will cross paths leading to a case of a lot of confusion and mistakes. Rohit has tried hard to stick to the actual plot. However, he has still introduced a few characters and additional twists.
Jacqueline Fernandez and Pooja Hegde will play the roles of love interests of the both the characters of Ranveer. In addition, the director has also signed a few fun personalities from his Golmal team. They include Mukesh Tiwari, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, and Vrajesh Hirjee, among others. They will also be seen playing important roles in the movie. Veteran actor Sulbha Arya will also be seen in the movie. She was last seen in Simmba. The movie will have the backdrop of Ooty, Goa and Mumbai and is scheduled for a release in winter 2021. Mehboob studios will conduct sets for the first schedule.
Ranveer Singh is currently waiting for a big-screen release of 83 and Shetty is looking forward to Sooryavanshi.
