The movie was announced two years ago by its producer Mahendra Dhariwal, who had kept Urvashi in mind first for the film. The shooting of the film had begun after the release of the T Series film Hate Story 4. Urvashi was also recently seen in the film Pagalpanti. The film didn’t do well at the box office.
Virgin Bhanupriya is a content-driven film and is said to fall in the Ayushman Khurrana’s film category. Speculations are Urvashi Rautela is set to be the lady Ayushman Khurrana of the story-based films. Virgin Bhanupriya tells the story of a girl who has to face dilemmas in her life in question to her virginity. The character Bhanupriya is of a girl who is looking for a partner but fails every time in the matter of bonding. The film has a comic way of presenting the life story of Virgin Bhanupriya.
The cast of the film includes Gautam Gulati, Archana Puran Singh, Delnaz Irani, Rajiv Gupta, and Brijendra Kala alongside Urvashi Rautela. The film will be releasing on 12th June 2020. Virgin Bhanupriya will be having a tough competition as two other big films are releasing the same day. One is Ananya Pandey and Ishaan Khattar starrer Khali Yellow, and the second is Chhalaang of Nusrat Bharucha and Rajkumar Rao.
