On March 17, the film starring Kapil Sharma was launched to thunderous applause. Both fans and critics enjoyed the slice-of-life drama, which depicts a society in which clients’ frivolous behavior, rather than the difficult work of food delivery workers, determines whether people survive or die. Shahana Goswami, who plays Kapil’s wife, also makes an appearance in the film. The comedian-actor has previously appeared in Firangi and Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon. This is his third acting role. Yet the audience wasn’t interested in the movie. Early estimates suggest that Nandita Das’ directing endeavor barely broke even on its opening day. Scroll to read Zwigato Box Office Collection.

The movie directed by Nandita Das only brought in 0.40 crores on Day 1, according to trade reports. On account of positive word-of-mouth, it is anticipated that the movie would draw more viewers throughout the weekend.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the movie’s first-day numbers on Twitter on Saturday, writing, “Released at restricted screens [409] and shows, Zwigato puts up a bland score on day 1… Positive word of mouth needs to translate into weekend foot traffic, though. Thurs., 42 lacs of business in India.”

About Zwigato
A food delivery boy and his family’s struggle is shown in the film Zwigato. In the Hindustan Times review, the film is described as a “compelling tale that blends humor with honesty”. “Watch Zwigato appreciate a glimpse into the lives of those to whom we don’t give the recognition they deserve,” the caption read.
Notwithstanding its limitations, the film provokes conversation about the unfair system that members of the service class go through while yet accomplishing little to alter it.
The story, which is based in Bhubaneshwar, revolves around Manas (Kapil Sharma) and his wife Pratima (Shahana Goswami) and how they manage their physical and mental well-being while working together to survive the financial crisis.
In the slice-of-life film, a former factory floor manager loses his job as a result of the epidemic. Later, he succeeds in getting a job as a food delivery rider, where he must contend with the world of ratings and rewards. Kapil seems to have a strong commitment to his family. He finds it difficult to spend time with his wife Shahana.
Perhaps the reason Zwigato is difficult to see is that we’re all somehow collectively to blame for their situation. The director has done a fantastic job of capturing the helplessness of the disadvantaged group in society. The lesson here is that we shouldn’t add to their problems if we are unable to assist them in any way. The least we can do is treat them nicely and recognize that they are not machines but rather real humans. The bigger worry is that by denying their existence, we may be jeopardizing our humanity.
Kapil Sharma On Zwigato
The popular comedy show The Kapil Sharma Show’s host argued that he could relate to Zwigato’s story because of his background. In an interview, with PTI, he said, “I used to work for Coca-Cola. We all do a few odd jobs here and there when we first go to Mumbai. The merchandise was transported by trucks. Back then, there were no applications. But when Nandita Ma’am approached me and described the issues delivery workers face, I listened. I found the story to be quite relatable.”
The actor insisted that he was attracted by Nandita Das’s intention to collaborate with him on the project. He continued, “I questioned her: ‘Why me?’ I wasn’t sure if she meant it as a compliment or an insult when she responded. She responded, ‘Even if global superstar Shah Rukh Khan had consented to star in the film, she would have taken me. Instead, I went with you because your common face fits in with everyone in a crowd.”
Kamal Rashid On Zwigato
Also, the self-described critic and comedian Kamaal Rashid Khan asserted that the Nandita Das film is having trouble drawing audiences and that Zwigato, starring Kapil Sharma, has bleak box office prospects. He said on Twitter that 90% of the scheduled showings for this film have been canceled. “The film #SharamKaro, starring Kapil Sharma, had an astounding opening of 1-3%. About 90% of performances are canceled due to low viewership. This is completely deserved by the movie’s producers, who tried to turn a joker into a star.”
