Junooniyat Serial- Neha Rana is commended for her portrayal of Elahi in Junooniyat. Ankit Gupta and Gautam Singh Vig also play major roles in this musical television production by Sargun Mehta and Ravie Dubey’s Dreamiyata Production. The title of the play, which was written by the well-known Bollywood musical pair Salim-Sulaiman, has generated a lot of hype. According to the actor, the show contains every element that makes it a unique experience.
She says, “I enjoy hearing music. Does anyone not? The most fascinating element for me is that I like to experiment with different musical genres, which is what I did in order to prepare for the part of Elahi. I watched a lot of movies and documentaries to get to know my character better, and I even picked up some musical instruments in an effort to be as authentic as possible in my representation. It was an excellent approach to entering the show’s world. I value Junooniyat so much.”
The actress adds, “Elahi, her virtual self, is a trained classical vocalist. She is a 22-year-old woman who aspires to be a rock star. Her mother’s abandonment during her formative years left her with a wound that this dream helps her heal. Her father and grandma raised her.” Neha is able to identify with Elahi’s love of art because she listens to music often. “Like Elahi, I look to music for calm and comfort. I connect on many levels with the role I’m playing. As a viewer, I think it would be fascinating to follow Elahi’s journey as she battles trauma and she will realise her aspirations.”

In any case, the set feels like home to her. The thought of returning to my hometown, seeing my folks, and feeling at home makes me a little excited.”
