Show buffs are waiting with bated breath to see what’s new in store for them. Netflix announces the trailer of Money Heist season 5 will be released on Monday, August 2. The show will be premiered on the OTT platform next month.
Money Hiest Season 5 | Itziar Ituno Goes Speechless
After viewing the teaser for the Netflix show’s forthcoming season five, part one, Itziar Ituno, who portrays Raquel Murillo aka Lisbon, had “no words.” The Spanish star teased fans with a video on Sunday, and the first teaser for Money Heist 5 will be released on Monday.
The official Instagram account for La Casa De Papel, or Money Heist, shared a video of Itziar discussing her feelings after seeing the trailer for the first time. We witness Itziar’s reaction to the trailer, and she appears completely absorbed and taken aback.
Itziar, who has been a part of the crime thriller since the beginning, was originally cast as inspector Raquel Murillo, the main negotiator. Due to personal reasons, she joins the gang of thieves led by mastermind Sergio nicknamed The Professor, played by actor lvaro Morte, after season two. Raquel is given a new name and identity, Lisbon, and the two fall in love.

Money Heist’s thieves are presently working on their second heist, this time at the Bank of Spain. Lisbon teams up with The Professor to outwit the government and the police department at the start of Season 3. However, when the group has difficulties within the bank, Marseille airdrops Lisbon into the structure. In the following season, Itziar’s character is likely to become The Professor’s confidante inside the bank.
According to a teaser film and a fresh series of stills published by the Money Heist creators lately, the new season will be action-packed, with the gang waging war on the invading army within the bank to revenge the murder of fellow member Nairobi in the previous season.
Season 5 of Money Heist will feature characters from Tokyo, Denver, Stockholm, Palermo, Bogota, Manila, and other cities. Part one of the season, which also serves as its finale, will air on September 3. Part two will be released on December 3.
