Famous Indian production company Inspire Films has teamed up with Lotpot Comics to create live-action television series starring well-known figures like MOTU PATLU cartoon, Sheikh Chilli, Sampat Champat, Kaka Shree, and Natkhat Neetu. Following the success of the web series Dear Ishq on Hotstar, the second season of Tu Zakhm Hai on MX Player, and the television series Tere Ishq Main Ghayal on Colors and Baazi Ishq Ki on Dangal, Inspire Films will enter the lighthearted family comedy genre with the popular Lotpot comics franchises.
The creator and managing director of Inspire Films, Yash Patnaik, stated “Lotpot Comics is one of the most well-known comic businesses in India. With their well-known characters including Motu Patlu, Sheikh Chilli, Sampat Chapmat, Kaka Shree, and Natkhat Neetu, Lotpot has been delighting Indians since 1969. For the past 11 years, Motu Patlu has dominated the charts as an animated series. To bring these endearing characters to life in live action for television and OTT, we are thrilled to collaborate with Mr PK Bajaj, editor, and Mr Aman Bajaj, publisher of Lotpot Comics.
