Television’s hit running show Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi has been renewed for the third season and Producer Mamta Yash Patnaik believes through their show they have created a new legacy in terms of storytelling.
Shaheer Sheikh, Erica Fernandez, and Supriya Pilgaonkar star in the new season’s promo, which was published in May. Unlike other daily soaps, which largely focus on family politics as seen through the eyes of the saas-bahu, the show is a mature love tale between Devrath Dixit (Shaheer) and Dr. Sonakshi Bose (Erica).
Mamta: Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi was more exciting than challenging to write
For Mamta’s firm, Beyond Dreams, “Kuchh Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi” has been a very meaningful franchise. “‘Kuchh Rang…’ is authentic, sincere, and lovely. The success of previous seasons has raised the bar for the current season,” she says.
Writing an unusual narrative like “Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi,” was more fascinating than hard for Mamta. “Unlike in a saas-bahu, where the heroes are sanitized and the characters are black and white, the characters in the show are human. We all change over time in our lives and our relationships, and I’m pleased we can portray that on the show. People will become more invested in the tale as it continues. Writing and presenting all of these elements in our tale was more than hard; it was also rather exciting,” she says.
The third season is currently under production, and Mamta claims that the crew has followed all of the COVID-19 criteria. “This pandemic has taught us a lot of important things. Everyone now recognizes the significance of good health and well-being. We are taking all feasible steps in terms of SOPs as a firm to offer a safe workplace,” she adds, adding that all cast and crew members have been vaccinated.
Sony TV broadcasts the romance drama series. Mamta states that she and her producer husband, Yash Patnaik, share the same goal of delivering content-driven stories.
