Pandya Store Written Update
The Pandya Store episode for July 7th, 2023, starts with Shweta inquiring about Dhara’s ability to survive without Chiku. Sadly, Dhara responds that a tree always remains up despite losing its branches and that she will eventually learn to live without Chiku just like she did with Shiva, Krish, and Dev. Gautam arrives at the doorway at the same moment and finds Dhara making an emotional confession while tightly clutching the gajra in his hands.
As Dhara begs Shweta to swear that she won’t ever again let Chiku cry, he feels his heart shattered into a million pieces. When Prerna hugs Dhara to comfort him, Chiku is leaving and giving him great sorrow. Krish blames himself for preventing Chiku by marrying Shweta. Prerna reassures Krish that he acted in the best interests of his Dhara and urges him not to feel bad.
Dhara has planned a large farewell party as Raavi and Shiva are talking about how her heart is big enough to let her son Chiku go. Shiva somberly informs Raavi that in addition to Chiku, the other three sons of Dhara are also leaving her; therefore, this gathering is also for them.
Raavi murmurs that she does not know how she changed from being a decent daughter-in-law to someone who wants to destroy the family after hearing this as she leans her head over Shiva’s shoulder. Shiva comforts her by telling her that, up until now, he has always played the part of a good son when she asks if she is doing something wrong. But now he must raise Mithu as a good father. He tells Raavi that Dhara, Gomby, and Suman are suffering a great deal since they are not only losing their family members but also their identity as “Pandya Nivas,” which means they are hurting everyone.
While Dhara finally allows her tears to stream down her cheeks, Gautam places a gajra on her hair and declares that she is enough for him to live the rest of his life. He even hugs Dhara, and she gives him a little kiss on the shoulder. As Rishita asserts that Gomby should have given it some time, Dev angrily responds, “The wounds close people give never heal.”
Rishita counters that it is better for them because that way they would be able to maintain the love, to which Dev responds that Dhara’s sons are betraying her by choosing to remain apart. Rishita and Natasha come up with a scheme where Natasha will appear to be ill for Chiku to stay for a few more days after Dev grudgingly departs. Natasha pledges to act flawlessly since she does not want Chiku to depart.
Chiku refuses to change his mind when Mithu offers him chocolate to entice him to stay with him, so Mithu hides Chiku’s bag in a storage room. Shiva visits Suman’s room as she is sitting dejectedly in her room and begs her to stay with him after their separation, but Suman refuses. She vehemently asserts that as long as she lives, she will remain with Dhara and Gautam since they have consistently worked to keep the family together in contrast to Shiva, who wants to split them apart.
Suman sobs as she hears this, and Shiva turns and leaves. As soon as Dhara walks in, she tells her to get ready because this will be the final time the family gathers. Shweta promises to bring Chiku home whenever he wants as Dhara walks into the kitchen, but Dhara politely declines. Then, as Dhara comes, Shweta forces Chiku to sample meals, and Chiku compliments Shweta’s cooking to upset Dhara.
