Salman Khan remains in news for his outstanding fanbase and work in films. However, this time Salman has crossed the regular news as he has recently cracked a deal of Rs. 450 Crores with the makers of Bigg Boss 14. Will this make Salman Khan the highest paid Bollywood actor by the end of this year?
Salman Khan makes a Deal of Rs. 450 Crores with Bigg Boss Makers:
Bigg Boss makers know that the show gains its TRP due to Salman Khan’s involvement. If it weren’t for Salman, the show wouldn’t have been crossing boundaries of popularity. As per the recent news by Mid-Day, Salman has increased his price for Rs. 20 crores per episode. Earlier the news in the air conveyed that Colors & Endemol were thinking of dealing at 250 crores but as per trade experts, it is too less for a popular figure like Salman.
Mid-day mentioned, “Salman had reportedly charged R15.5 crore per episode last year. This time around, he has upped the price to R20 crore per episode. While the three-month stint works out to R480 crore, the makers and he agreed to seal the deal at R450 crore. The amount is inclusive of his fees for promos and virtual press conferences. The producers at Endemol are willing to pay the remuneration as they know Salman is the primary reason for the show’s high TRPs.”
Due to the coronavirus triggered lockdown, the makers are pretty sure that the show will receive huge amount of traction. Famous Social Media Influencers, YouTubers and TikTok Stars are expected as contestants. Names like Nia Sharma, Pavitra Punia, Jasmin Bhasin and more can be heard of for the show.
Source informed Mid-day, “If the reality show doesn’t conclude this time within the agreed 12 weeks, Salman’s team and the producers will sit down to discuss the additional remuneration.”
