Rajan Shahi’s “Anupamaa” is the struggle of a woman as a mother, a wife, and all the other roles she plays. But Anupamaa’s challenges as a wife has been more, as her husband not only ignores her completely but is also having an extramarital affair. But the lovely wife that she is, she has neither lost faith in her relationship, not has left his side even for a single minute. Tragedy strikes at Anupamaa as she takes a stand for Vanraj.
The last couple of episodes have been quite intriguing for the audience. When Paritosh leaves the house, Anupamaa and Vanraj united as parents and shared their pain for their child. Vanraj is shattered with the way Paritosh left the house and is unable to cope up with it. Though Anupamaa is suffering through her own pain, she tries hard to console Vanraj.

The upcoming episodes will have some more family drama. When Anupamaa learns that Paritosh is staying at Kinjal’s house, she leaves immediately to bring him back home as she can’t bear to look at a broken Vanraj. Even though Rakhi resists a lot, Anupamaa takes him away with her. The episodes not only show Anupamaa’s strong side as a mother and a wife but even Vanraj’s vulnerability as a father has been portrayed beautifully.
“Anupamaa” features Rupali Ganguly, Sudhanshu Pandey, Paras Kalnawat, Aashish Mehrotra, Nidhi Shah, Tassnim Sheikh, and Madalsa Sharma. Co-produced by Rajan and his mother Deepa Shahi under their banner Shahi Production Pvt Ltd, the show airs Monday to Saturday at 10 p.m. on Star Plus.
